"Romantic Music" Faculty Recital February 6th

Join us for the next performance of our 2021-2022 Faculty Recital Series! Featuring Marvin Blickenstaff, Jason Gallagher, Dr. Qin Ling, Emily Rudquist, and others.


Enjoy iconic works by Chopin, Brahms, Rachmaninoff, and others.


In preparation for this recital, students have been studying the Romantic era in group classes. The Romantic period is characterized by individual expression, rich harmonies, and a breaking away from traditional "Classical" forms.

The New School for Music Study (NSMS) is a division of the Frances Clark Center for Keyboard Pedagogy, a non-profit 501(c)(3) educational organization.
