Dear Friends,
In this time of grieving, coming together as a community can offer care and support. We want to make space to gather, to remember our dear Marvin, honor his many contributions, and simply be there for one another.
Below are three upcoming memorial opportunities, and you are warmly invited to attend.
Friday, February 6 at 11:00 AM
The Frances Clark Center will honor Marvin’s professional achievements through an online memorial service. We will broadcast this memorial at NSMS for those who would like to watch together. Following the broadcast, a light lunch will be served at the school for those in attendance.
Whether attending to online or in-person at the school, please RSVP, as this will ensure you receive all necessary information from the Frances Clark Center and will help us plan accordingly at the school.

A memorial service will be held at Marvin’s home church, Blooming Glen Mennonite Church (713 Blooming Glen Road, Blooming Glen, PA 18911).
This service is open to all and will also be live streamed.
Finally, The New School for Music Study will hold a recital honoring Marvin Blickenstaff on Sunday, February 22 at 2:30 p.m. at Nassau Presbyterian Church. This event is free and open to the public.
We hope you will join us in honoring Marvin and in supporting one another during this time.
