NSMS Students at Carnegie Hall

The New School for Music Study is pleased to announce that ten students have been invited to perform in the RCM Recital of Excellence on February 16, 2019, at Carnegie Hal in NYC.  Ira Agarwal, Ava Fong, Timmy Fong, Nishka Mehta, Gabriel Mikhno, Teo Monnerie, Ritisha Mungi, Tara Raman, Aparna Shukla, and Athreya Yegneswaran received this prestigious invitation based on their assessment score in the May 2018 RCM examinations.

Students must receive a score that is above 90 to be invited to the Recital of Excellent.  This represents students in the top 1-4% of all students who take the exam nationally. Many of these students have also received awards for having the highest score at the exam center or the state. Administrative Director, Rebecca Pennington commented, "We are thrilled to have ten students represented in this prestigious recital!  This represents the culmination of a year of hard work and a commitment to excellence!" Congratulations to these NSMS students!
