Kairy Koshoeva Performs in Piano Stories On Stage April 9th

Our own Kairy Koshoeva will be featured in the Frances Clark Center's online concert series, Piano Stories On Stage on April 9th at 8:00PM ET. You won't want to miss her performance of the complete Goldberg Variations, with commentary provided by Marvin Blickenstaff.

Dr. Koshoeva says, "I’ve long dreamed of playing Bach’s Goldberg Variations in its entirety, but of course that’s not an easy thing to do. When my dear teacher Vera Nosina gave me the score in Moscow, she wrote ‘I hope you will play it one day.’ I still have her little note glued to the score. That’s how it all started. I began to work on the piece seriously while pursuing a doctoral degree at UMKC. My other wonderful teacher, Dr. Robert Weirich's encouragement, helped me to pursue my dream and make it a reality.”

Register here. You'll receive an email from Demio, the hosting platform, with a link to view the concert. Replays will be available to registrants for 48 hours following each event.
