On October 22, 2021, NSMS faculty member, Dr. Kairy Koshoeva, traveled to Moscow, Russia, for two performances. First, she played a solo recital at Malachite Hall, which was attended by the First President of her native country, Kyrgyzstan (see photo of him speaking after the performance).
Dr. Koshoeva was also featured in a concert celebrating the 80th birthday of her piano professor, Vera Borisovna Nosina, on October 23,2021. Dr. Koshoeva performed Andante Maestoso from the Nutcracker by Tchaikovsky, transcribed by M. Pletnev, at the Concert Hall of Gnessin's Russian Academy of Music in Moscow.
