The Silent Film Celebration is a performance opportunity for all ages and levels.
In this unique concert, students find less performance anxiety than in traditional settings. Families love watching and participating in this event, bringing the community together through music. Join us for an enjoyable day of piano and movies!

Join us for this year's exciting music and film event!
Piano students of all ages and levels each prepare 30-90 seconds of music to accompany a scene from a silent film. Together, the performers create a continuous, live soundtrack that enhances each film. Before movies had sound, it was common for pianists to provide live accompaniment in theaters.
These timeless classics starring Charlie Chaplin and Buster Keaton are sure to delight audiences of all ages. Each entertaining film is only 20-30 minutes in duration.
The SFC is a fun and unique performance opportunity for students, as well as a memorable event for audiences. Tickets may be purchased online or at the door. You won't want to miss this inspiring day of music and movies!
