Native Muscovite of Russia Natasha Agilina received her Bachelor of Music degree from the Gnessin Russian Academy of Music, and her Master of Music degree from the State Ukrainian Conservatory in Kharkiv. She studied with renowned musicians such as V. Belov, A. Egorov, and S. L. Dizhur. She continued at the Gnessin Academy of Music with respected Professor B.M. Berlin.
A frequent performer as a soloist, accompanist, and chamber musician, she also devotes most of her time to teaching. During her tenure in Moscow, her students won numerous regional and state competitions and were accepted to the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory and the Ippolitov-Ivanov State Music Pedagogical Institute. Ms. Agilina holds the highest qualification category of piano teacher honored by the Moscow Committee of Culture. She was awarded high honor certificates for her creative work from the Ministry of Culture of Russia. For many years she was one of the leading pedagogues of the Moscow H. Neuhaus State Music School, where she was head of the piano department (1985-2001).
In 2001, Ms. Agilina moved to the United States, where she continues to maintain a private studio in New Jersey. Ms. Agilina is noted for her teaching in the traditions of the Russian School of Piano.
From 2004 to the present, Ms. Natasha Agilina has conducted master classes with her students in the AFAF international summer educational program in Europe. From 2008 to 2026, she was a faculty member of the Westminster Conservatory of Music of Rider University in Princeton, New Jersey. Her students in the Young Artist and Young Musician Program successfully participated in NJMTA competitions and festivals, receiving awards for many years. Students have also received distinction and certificates at TRINITY College London's educational programs. Many students have received the ATCL Diploma of Distinction from Trinity College, demonstrating musicianship beyond graded exams. Her students are winners of numerous international festivals and performances at such prestigious halls as Weill Recital Hall, Steinway Hall, Merkin Hall, the German Culture Center, and others.
