Tuition may be paid in one of two payment plans:
- FOUR payments, due on the following dates:
First week of school, November 1, January 1, April 1.
- MONTHLY payments, due for 8 months:
First week of school and the first of every month through April
Monthly payment plans are available by marking the appropriate box on your registration card.
The total tuition is divided into even payments, so that payments are in whole dollars, which makes the first payment different from the remainder. Therefore, each payment does not cover a two-month period or a month; rather, it is 1/4 or 1/8 of the total tuition based upon the payment plan.
We do not send bills for tuition payments. Instead, we provide coupons with a payment schedule which you are responsible for mailing or bringing in with each payment. There is a 10-day grace period after each scheduled due date. Payments received after the grace period will be automatically assessed a 5% late-payment fee, up to a maximum of $25.00.
All remaining tuition from the previous term must be paid in full before registration for the next term can be accepted or the remaining tuition will be deducted from the deposit for the next term.
RETURNED CHECKS
There will be a $25 fee for returned bank checks to cover the fee charged to us by the bank.
MATERIALS FEE
There is a yearly materials fee of $30 for each student to cover the cost of paper, music and materials used in our private lessons and repertoire classes, and replacement costs of on-loan music. The fee will be added to the tuition for the first payment only.
MUSIC BOOKS
There will be a $75 flat fee for music books. Your child’s teacher will provide all books needed during the entire school year; these books are yours to keep. The fee will be added to the tuition for the first payment only.
