We are proud to announce the arrival of our 1986 Steinway B grand piano, a piano that’s grand in every sense of that word!

We invite you to share in this momentous event by "buying" a key or another part of the piano. Your contribution will be a gift to every student that plays the new piano. A special donor's plaque will be prominently displayed in the waiting room to recognize each donation, and to thank you for your support.

The New School for Music Study is a non-profit school for music study and piano lessons. Please join us in helping the school teach the joy of music.

Thank you for your continued support of our mission and programs at The New School for Music Study. Our last NSMS Annual Fund and Gala Dinner raised funds which helped financed several new items that facilitate the quality instruction offered by the NSMS faculty.

We have purchased new high-fidelity recorders for each studio, and footrests as well as bench pads for each studio and classroom. As a result of your donations we have also been able to purchase a new Yamaha grand piano and have been able to upgrade our schedule of piano maintenance. Funds have also been used to make roof repairs, replace carpeting and paint the exterior of the school over this past summer.

This year we hope to raise funds and continue improvements that are necessary to the NSMS. Our goals are to address the school’s computer needs and to provide a network as well as internet access for the faculty.

Your contribution to this fundraising effort is important and all gifts are tax deductible. All donations, regardless of size, will help us reach our goal. Your participation will make a difference. Please lend your support to the NSMS, so our teachers may continue helping hands, hearts and minds learn the joy of music.
