Our goal is to provide a warm and supportive environment in which all our students can explore the world of music with confidence and joy. We strive to provide a balanced curriculum of great piano literature of the past, as well as from the lively world of today, including art music, folk music, and a wide variety of popular idioms.

Our top priority is to provide the best possible music education for every student. Our goal is to develop independent and well-rounded musicians. The New School for Music Study is open to students of all ages and abilities, without regard for gender, race or ethnicity. We believe in the transformative power of music in human lives and in the world around us.
